SCHOLARईशा वास्यमिदं सर्वं यत्किञ्च जगत्यां जगत्। तेन त्यक्तेन भुञ्जीथा मा गृधः कस्यस्विद्धनम्॥
īśā vāsyam idaṁ sarvaṁ yat kiñca jagatyāṁ jagat | tena tyaktena bhuñjīthā mā gṛdhaḥ kasya svid dhanam ||
Classical Commentary — Sri Ramanujacharya
“When everything belongs to the Divine Lord, human possession is merely stewardship. Enjoying life as an offering frees the seeker from worldly entanglement.”
In Sri Ramanujacharya's commentary, the key emphasis is placed on "Karmanyevadhikaraste" as Nishkama Karma dedicated unto Narayana, whereby the ego (Kartritva) is fully surrendered.
